Why are we here?
Welcome to our vibrant community of fiction / non-fiction enthusiasts! Our book club is more than just a place to read—it’s a platform for intellectual exploration, personal growth, and meaningful connections.

Why did we come up with this?
The Challenge We Face
During one of our recent lectures, we were tasked with conducting user interviews to identify trends and insights. As the session progressed, we noticed an interesting pattern. Once a few students identified a particular trend, almost everyone else started focusing on the same trend, rather than exploring new ones.
Similarly, when questions were posed in class, we observed that after the first two or three students responded, the rest of the class tended to follow their lead and select one answer out of the initially proposed options.
Other Graduate Student Challenges
Heavy workload of assignments and projects can significantly limit time for critical thinking and skill improvement.
A student might know that he/she lacks public speaking skills, but constant inflow of assignments doesn’t allow for a dedicated time slot for a communications course

What’s expected of us
Graduate students are expected to be up-to date with trends and possess critical thinking, enough to fend off biases and fallacies.
Students in the lecture hall above should have caught that the whole class was falling for Baader-Meinhoff Phenomenon & Bandwagon Effect.
We want to ensure everyone at our book club is sharp and in the best shape to tackle world-challenges.
